Like the Fantasy Zhu Xian mini-drama, a commercial trailer for 梦回鹿鼎记 Online (The Duke of Mount Deer Online game/Dreaming of Deer and the Cauldron) was released on 13th June 2011. This time, the cast is primarily from Bu Bu Jing Xin 步步惊心 starring Nicky Wu, Liu Shishi, Lin Gengxin and Liu Xinyou. Hu Ge again takes the leading role with his portrayal of Wei Xiao Bao 韦小宝.
This will be a full movie released some time in July 2011!!

Those costumes look great!!!! Why can’t this be a full drama????
Unlike the minidrama of Fantasy Zhu Xian, this is going to be a full movie! It’ll be released summer of 2011, at the same time as the MMORPG of the same name.
I don’t know if it’ll be shown in theatres or just online though…

I believe the filming has been completed and they are working on special effects now… summer is fast approaching!
